Chief Red Hawk has performed during two previous Trails and Vistas events. His enchanting Lakota flute playing and mystical stories of connections between all living things will again enlighten participants in this year's Trails and Vistas.

WELCOME TO TRAILS AND VISTAS
Please come walk with us on September 6 & 7 for Trails and Vistas "Songs of the Earth." Trails and Vistas is a unique collaboration between artists, non-profit organizations, and volunteers that are passionate about cultivating the creative spirit in each of us and treasuring the earth around us. Trails and Vistas brings a art experience unlike any other in Tahoe.
New this year are two focused hiking groups:
• "Little Feet" is a shorter hike for families with "little feet" held at 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
• "Leisure Feet" is a slower paced hike for persons that need to hike at a more leisurely pace at noon and 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
We are honored this year to feature artists that explore the intrinsic connections between us and the universe around us. Over thirty performers will collaborate together to bring interactive art that includes installation art, music, poetry, and dance in a natural environmental setting.
